New housing, extensions and interior design

Every housing project starts with a careful reading of the site and the client's needs: the plot or the existing building, the brief, the available budget and the applicable local planning regulations. From that analysis the proposal is developed, whether it is a new single-family home, an extension to an existing building, or a full renovation that changes the use or layout of a dwelling. When the engagement includes interior design, it is developed together with the architectural project from the outset, rather than added afterwards, so that joinery, lighting and furniture follow the same spatial and constructive logic.

How we work

After an initial visit and survey of the plot or existing dwelling, we draft a preliminary design (anteproyecto) with the proposed layout, massing and exterior image, which is reviewed with the client before proceeding. Once that stage is approved, we develop the basic and execution project required for the building permit, together with the construction, services and finishes specification. Interior design commissions also include documentation for bespoke furniture, joinery and lighting.

What the engagement includes

  • New single-family housing
  • Extensions, full renovations and interior design
  • Commercial premises and small industrial or agricultural buildings
  • Preliminary design and feasibility study
  • Basic and execution project in line with the Código Técnico de la Edificación (CTE) and local planning regulations
