We understand architecture as a way of responding to the place, to the needs of each project and to the people who will live in it. Since 2004 we have worked in housing, restoration and public building projects, combining design, technical expertise and knowledge of public administration to develop clear, functional and durable solutions, with equal care for the architectural idea and its execution.
At CONCRETO — architecture studio we treat architecture as a long-term commitment: to the client, to the place and to time itself. We accompany every project with dedication and close, hands-on follow-through, handling the whole process — from the first ideas to the administrative procedures and the construction itself. We propose solutions tailored to each need, combining design, functionality, energy efficiency and build quality.

We guide you through the whole construction process: technical advice at every decision and full management of the works, with a single point of contact from start to handover.
Independent technical documentation for individuals, communities and small businesses, with rigour and clear timeframes.
We handle activity licences, with or without associated works, and legalisation of existing installations, managing all the administrative procedures involved.
We draft parcelling and land subdivision projects, in line with Galicia's Land Law and applicable land registry regulations.
Process
We visit the site, listen to the real needs, and assess technical and budget feasibility.
We define the proposal, the design criteria and an initial cost estimate. We revise the design as many times as it takes to get it right, using visualisations that let you see the house before it's built and decide with confidence.
We draft the full project and handle the necessary permits and certifications.
We accompany construction through to handover, with a single technical point of contact throughout. We don't consider a project finished until the client or developer is fully satisfied.
The studio
An architecture studio based in Poio, Pontevedra, led by Gregorio L. Agís, registered architect (COAG no. 3187). Since 2004 we have developed architecture, restoration and site supervision projects, combining technical expertise, construction know-how and direct, hands-on attention throughout the whole process.
Our work
A selection of projects, ranging from new builds to the restoration of traditional buildings.
Full renovation of a traditional stone masonry house, restoring the existing building and preserving its original character. The intervention includes a ground-floor extension for a garage and service spaces, which also enlarges the living area and strengthens its relationship with the outdoors. The project is completed with the landscaping of the plot and the integration of the new volumes into the whole.

New-build single-family house conceived to open up towards the views of the ría and take advantage of the plot's orientation. The composition combines exposed concrete, natural stone and zinc, creating a sober contemporary image. The cantilevered volumes help control solar gain and generate sheltered outdoor spaces, reinforcing the continuity between the house, the pool and the garden. Design authorship and site supervision by the studio.

Full renovation and extension of the Cambados Fishermen's Guild building, with consolidation of the existing structure, restoration of the original building's most valuable elements and the addition of a new floor. The intervention adapts the building to the guild's current social and administrative needs, seeking a balanced coexistence between the historic architecture and the new contemporary elements. Co-authored project, with site supervision by the studio.

New-build single-family house conceived from a clean, contemporary volumetry, with a white finish combined with natural stone. The interior is organised around a double-height living area, which adds a sense of spaciousness and strengthens the relationship between the different floors. The composition aims for a sober, balanced image, with particular attention to light, proportions and the continuity between interior and exterior spaces. New-build single-family house defined by a composition of clean, contemporary volumes, with a white rendered finish combined with natural stone cladding. The house features cantilevers and large glazed openings that let in plenty of light and strengthen the relationship between the interior spaces, the terraces and the garden. The project is completed with the design and landscaping of the outdoor spaces. Design authorship and site supervision by the studio.

New-build single-family house conceived to open up towards the views of the ría. The composition is resolved through two stacked volumes, combining white exposed brick and a ventilated façade in a dark finish. The upper floor cantilevers out towards the landscape, creating sheltered outdoor spaces and strengthening the relationship between the house, the terrace and the garden.
