Site supervision is the service that accompanies the physical construction of the project: resolving technical decisions as they arise on site, checking that what is built matches the project and current regulations, and keeping control of schedule, quality and budget on behalf of the client, working alongside the building contractor. A distinction is usually made between site supervision (dirección de obra), focused on the project and regulatory compliance, and execution supervision (dirección de ejecución), focused on direct control of the works, and in most commissions both roles are coordinated through a single point of contact for the client.
How we work
Follow-through is organised through regular site visits, where queries are resolved, completed work is checked, and progress is recorded. Where required, we also take on health and safety coordination during construction, in line with Real Decreto 1627/1997. The process closes with a final check of the completed works against the project and the paperwork needed to obtain the final completion certificate.
